What is energy?

We are all energy. If atoms are energy and atoms make up human cells, then we are a big mass of energy. All matter in the Universe is made of Energy.

Our actions are energy, our words, our thoughts, our emotions.

The life force that flows through us, is energy.

So, what we are, what we do, what we think, what we feel, are all a vibration and frequency of energy. It is ever moving, ever flowing and ever changing.

Within, it flows through the main energy channels, the Chakras. Without, it exudes outwards, our aura.

Low energy frequencies from negative actions, thoughts and feelings can get stuck in our energy field and cause blockages and disruptions in the flow of your energy, which in turn can lead to mental and physical ailments.

Bringing awareness to our energy and practices on working consciously with this life force, to bring positive health and vitality, is the aim at re-Innergise.

What are the Chakras?

The Chakras are major energy centres that run vertically along the spine from the root of the spine, up to the crown of the head. The word Chakra is translated as the ‘Spinning Wheels’.

There are seven major Chakra points within the body that run up along the spine, with hundreds of smaller chakra points throughout the body. The Chakras are key points of flow for life force energy – Prana, Qi, Chi. When energy can flow freely, our energy system, our mind and our body, are healthy and full of vitality.

But our emotions, feelings, thoughts, past experiences and the way we treat our physical bodies, can have a detrimental impact on the natural and free-flowing energy, creating energy blockages, which can affect one or more Chakras.

Practices such as Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation, Qi Gong, Reiki, and many more, can help to restore balance to the Chakras and allow energy to flow freely, releasing stagnant energy, and bringing health and vitality to the body and the mind.
